We are currently looking for an SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. An SEO is responsible for analyzing and reviewing websites that are optimized to be picked up by search engines. He would be also in constant contact with web developers in order to implement his recommendations.
As an SEO Specialist you will be required to develop content to include keywords or phrases in order to increase traffic to websites. You will be responsible for driving growth for our customers and strengthening their position within existing core markets.
Essential functions:
- Engages with the client and the internal team to establish goals, objectives, and strategies
- Creates content recommendations and research on multiple client verticals (e.g., beauty, consultancy, financial, ecommerce, etc.)
- Develops comprehensive recommendations for on- and off-site content optimization; focuses on keyword coverage and maximizing
- Works cross-functionally (particularly with Paid Search, Analytics and web development)
- Contributes to our internal content strategy by proposing content topics and blogs
- Monitors client SEO performance and performs keyword-level research using industry-standard tools, including third-party software and Web Analytics packages
- Utilizes social media outlets and assets for the benefit of SEO campaign performance
- Assists with audits of clients’ web architecture to ensure the site is properly constructed to maximize visibility
- Crafts heavily-researched keyword lists and documentation backed by multiple data sets for ensured relevancy and performance
Requirements
Our Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in working on SEO activities
- A comprehensive knowledge of organic search and how SEO activities influence search engine ranking algorithms
- Thorough understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, programming language and blogging is a great asset
- Knowledge of SEO tool such us Moz, SEMRush is a great asset
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Analytical skills, problem solving ability and attention to detail
- Strong writing skills in French and English is a great asset
- Strong communication skills
